Projects
You can find almost all of my projects on my Github, @connorslade. Some of my more interesting or complete projects will be put here, with articles explaining what they do and how they work.
Note that because this version of my website is still a work in progress, I have not yet added all of my interesting projects here.
An experimental open source slicer for masked stereolithography (resin) printers.
My attempt at a cross-platform recreation of the MacOS Sequoia “Macintosh” screensaver with WGPU. Then adding support for the layer-shell Wayland extension, so I can use it on my lock screen.
A web based shell for Free42, the HP-42S calculator simulator. Made with Web Assembly and Svelte.
A Minecraft fabric mod that splits screenshots into multi-layered .tiff images so you can retroactively hide the hotbar, HUD, overlays, screens, etc. from view in your screenshots.
A GPU accelerated simulator for the 2D discretized wave equation.
Automatically re-authenticates your Minecraft session in game so you never have to restart your game due to an “Invalid Session”. This is particularly useful for autonomous bots.
Website for Ridge Computer Science Club’s yearly hackathon, Ridgehacks! Written as a single page Svelte app.
Program compiler for the Free42 HP42 emulator and some miscellaneous programs. Many of which are for my AP Statistics class, because I just can’t be normal and use a TI-84.
A web scraper for finding offimages from the SwissMicros forum, and a nice web interface for viewing them all.
