This is the website for Ridge Computer Science Club’s yearly hackathon, Ridgehacks! Written as a single page Svelte app.
We just decided to continue with the general design style from the previous year’s websites (2023, 2022, 2021). There were some new elements as well, like the schedule would highlight the current activity on the day of the hackathon, and you can switch between 12 and 24 hour times.
For next year, I am hoping to make a more stylized site, maybe like some kinda 90s hacker thing. Ill probably take lots of inspiration from those old archived GeoCities sites.
Update
For Ridgehacks 2025, I did not, in fact make a more stylized site. Turns out senior year of High School is kinda hectic and I didn’t have the time or motivation to completely redesign the site, so I just used the exact same design as 2024 just with updated information.
